Jagga Jasoos 2017
This movie is soooo colorful - that whole world now feels gray to me. I’ve always loved Ranbirs choice of movies, and this is one which I will surely put on the top.
This movie has so many references to what a Bengali child grew up with - it really makes you think about how much of our imagination as kids was shaped by the stories we grew up with.

Tamasha 2015
some films you watch, and some watch you back. tamasha caught me right when i was pretending to be fine. i remember sitting and crying in the theatres - all because the movie is so relatable. the rewatches are always carry the same impact.
imtiaz ali sits in the “who am i actually” question and lets it stay messy and unresolved, the way it really is. ranbir’s breakdown scenes still get me every time, and rahman’s music holds it all together.
not for everyone, and that’s okay. it’s for the ones who have felt like a character in someone else’s story.

Drishyam 2015
Gandhi ji taught us non-violence. Vijay Salgaonkar taught us non-evidence. 2nd October awards goes to Vijay!

Split 2016
Can you believe that Mr. Tumnus can be so scary! As always loved you James McAvoy.

Depends who's asking 61

Jerry Maguire 1996
It’s a beautiful feel-good movie. I would not rate it the best out there, but it definitely steals your heart away. A good ending to complete the movie. :)

Raajneeti 2010
Surely entertaining, but the movie really has a meh ending. I mean after the second half the movie just gets more and more predictable.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 2003
No review, just the rating.

Merry Christmas 2024
sriram raghavan really said “what if a christmas eve meet-cute was secretly a noir” and then just committed to it. gorgeous 80s bombay, katrina doing her best work in years, vijay sethupathi being vijay sethupathi. first half is a slow burn, second half bites. not for everyone but i was in.

Taskaree: The Smuggler's Web 2026
3 stars for the all the episodes until the last.
Acting is good from few actors - mid from others.

Babita Singh Reporting 2026
Ever seen a sine curve? This movie traces the same shape emotionally. I kept feeling bored and excited, hooked and checked out, impressed and impatient. It feels like a problem looking for a story. I’m not sure about the hype, but the ending was definitely meh.
