Conference attendance had taken a hit since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Though I attended many virtual conferences and was glad to present at a few like FOSDEM - a conference I had always longed to present at. I returned to another conference with the jetlag of another conference, FOSSASIA but this conference was something I was very eagerly waiting to attend. Why? Well there are a couple of reasons, but the main reason for which I bought the ticket was to listen to Liz Rice in person.
